MABA Monster Bash Brings Halloween Thrills to Madison

October 26, 2026

Halloween spirit and demolition derby excitement took center stage Saturday, October 24, as the MABA Monster Bash brought racing fans and families together in Madison.
Hosted by Mid-Mo Promotions and the Madison Area Business Association, the Halloween-themed event featured demolition derby competition, creatively decorated vehicles and family-friendly trunk-or-treat festivities. Families were encouraged to bring candy and children dressed in Halloween costumes to enjoy the spooky atmosphere. Several families took this opportunity for some extra fun before the derby started.
The event featured several demolition derby divisions, including hot stock, full-size Hobo, front-wheel-drive Hobo, SUV/van/truck and youth classes. Mower competitions, hosted by Mid-Mo Derby Mowers, added to the action, with three classes scheduled for competition.
Halloween creativity was also part of the festivities, with a $100 prize offered for the best Halloween-themed car. Children had the opportunity to participate in Kids Power Wheels activities at no charge.
