Shawn Fifer Memorial Demolition Derby Draws Big Crowd to Madison

The Shawn Fifer Memorial Demolition Derby, hosted by the Madison Area Business Association, brought an exciting conclusion to the weekend on July 18, as a large crowd gathered to watch drivers battle it out in one of the area's most anticipated summer events. 
Fans filled the grandstands to cheer on competitors as they put on an action-packed show, honoring the memory of Shawn Fifer while continuing a community tradition that has become a favorite annual attraction.

Following the event, the Madison Area Business Association expressed its appreciation to the many individuals and organizations whose support made the derby possible. 
Association members extended a heartfelt thank you to the numerous volunteers who donated their time before, during, and after the event, noting that the derby could not be successful without their dedication. Appreciation was also extended to the Madison Fire Department and Monroe County Ambulance for providing emergency services and helping ensure the safety of drivers and spectators throughout the evening. 
The organization also recognized the food vendors and other businesses that continue to support community events in Madison, along with the drivers who traveled to compete and the fans who braved the summer heat to attend the memorial derby. 
Special recognition was given to Mid Mo Promotion for organizing another entertaining evening of demolition derby competition. 
The Madison Area Business Association is already looking ahead to its next event, scheduled for October 24, and encourages the community to once again come out and support another exciting day in Madison.
